The Days
Mornings start slowly. The ocean is the first thing you see and the last thing you hear before falling asleep. You make coffee, step onto the terrace, and watch the water shift colour as the sun climbs over Julian Rocks.

A private 50 metre pathway from the rear of the property brings you down to the road beside the iconic Raes on Wategos. From there the beach is moments away. Swim in the calmest water in Byron Bay. Walk the lighthouse track along the headland until the whole coastline stretches out below you. Or do nothing at all. That is always an option here.

Afternoons belong to the house. The pool. The terrace. The barbecue with the ocean in front of you and absolutely nowhere you need to be. Cook something simple. Open something good. Let the afternoon stretch out until someone eventually says what everyone is thinking: we should come back next year.

Evenings are quiet here. That is the luxury.

Wellness
Within the grounds of the wider Wategos Estate, a wellness precinct is available exclusively to Starfall and Moonrise guests. Infrared sauna for deep recovery after a day in the surf. Odin ice bath for contrast therapy. Plunge pools beneath the trees. A yoga deck set among the canopy with mats provided. Everything you need to restore without leaving the property.

Sleep
Four private bedrooms, each one dressed in quality linen and designed for the kind of rest you only get when the ocean is doing the work for you. The main bedroom includes a private ensuite and opens to views across the canopy. Every room is generous enough to feel like a retreat, not just somewhere to sleep between swims.
