The space
Set on peaceful McAuleys Lane in the heart of Myocum, the property offers total privacy while being just 10 minutes from Byron Bay’s world-class beaches and the charming towns of Mullumbimby and Bangalow. Enjoy the best of the Byron Hinterland, farmers markets, cafes, and scenic drives, all within easy reach, yet far enough to feel like a true escape.

Please note: The Master Bedroom is connected to Bedroom 2 but can be made fully private with a sliding door that separates the rooms.

The Hill house is beyond! Like an Italian villa in the middle of the Byron hinterland. Honestly it was one of the most spectacular and unique houses I’ve ever been to. It’s private and secluded but also so close to the more local towns of Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads. The house also had a great layout for travelling with extended family. We each had our own floor in the”bedroom wing”. So was essentially like two private apartments. But with spacious and shared living areas. The kids ran around all day between the pool and trampoline underneath the frangipani trees! So special! Even when the rain set in, we didn’t get cabin fever. We lit a fire and enjoyed the spacious kitchen to cook a meal. Kids lounged around in the play area with all the toys there. Coming from the city, this home really transported us and enabled a deep relaxation. Just what we needed! Thanks for having us! Would love to return!

This house is magical. Every window has the most incredible views of nature. The property feels remote and private but is 5 minutes from eveything you need and 20 minutes from Byron Bay. The swimming pool is incredible, the water was warm, the views from the pool are divine. The house layout is perfection with the bedrooms separated from the main entertaining space. The kitchen, dining and outdoors are so big and spacious, again all with grand views. We did not want to leave this house. The Kalio team were super responsive, kind and got things done when we needed assistance. This house is really special - thanks for hosting us x

Our only note - when we arrived pool was green and garden was overgrown. I would keep that looking immaculate, it’s really the life of the house

We had a great time at the hill house for an extended weekend getaway. Peaceful location within an hour from the GC but felt secluded from the rest of the world. We had everything in the house, especially loved the pool area and the trampoline, very thoughtfully designed home. Exactly the family trip we needed.

It was wonderful, everything was very clean and modern. Really good appliances. The grill didn't match the rest and should be replaced. The view is fantastic. In front, the hinterland; behind, a view all the way to Byron.
